I am so thrilled to be doing so well. I cannot credit this to rife, though it helped me so much. I got to the point where I was fighting lyme, bartonella, babesia, mycoplasma, tooth infections, yeast, parasites, and later, I found out, cancer! It was so much to try to fight at once.
Around mid-May of 2016, a friend contacted me and told me about Body Code. She was becoming a practitioner. Since I had the skills to do the system (muscle testing), I chose to do it for myself. It's very alternative, but I didn't mind. ;) A month later, I was horseback riding! My balance was completely back, and I was able to ditch the wheelchair completely, even when out and about. No need for a cane, either!
I began walking each day and building stamina. It's absolutely amazing, the transformation! People that have known me are speechless, and I have had people even not recognize me, saying that I looked 20 years younger.
Currently, I feel that both the cancer and lyme (and all other issues) are gone. I am in the healing phases of things. I have so much more energy than I did; I no longer have to take supplements; I no longer have any pain! I am so, so thankful!
I still use my rife here and there, for detox, different things for the kids. But I must give most of the credit to Body Code. Body Code isn't for everyone. Some might find it too alternative for them. In this case, I would still recommend rife (or both).
Practitioners can be found here. I must note, however, that it must be a Body Code practitioner, not simply an Emotion Code practitioner. This is very important.

I am soooo thankful for good health! My husband has been able to go to work out of town again, etc. I can do so much more. One moment when I knew a huge change: I was able to go to the grocery store by myself for the first time in 4 years!! It was so strange.
I wish you all the best of health and strength in the days to come!

Detox 2 and Health Update
Well, I was determined to get this figured out, and I feel like I have!
First of all, I don't give detox on the machine enough credit. One day, as I was waiting for kids to get home, and didn't have time to do anything else, I decided to just keep doing detox settings....and I just kept feeling better and better! I definitely feel better, adding a couple of detox settings the next day, as well. It just helps so much!
Second, the clay baths are awesome! The box seems to last a long time (has it been a couple of months now?), and I realized that the longer I stay in, the better I feel....to the point where I can function really pretty well afterward! The next day, if I really need to (usually rife detox does the trick) I might do an epsom salt or mustard bath. By the way, if you are like me, and get bored in the bath, carefully reading a book helps. :)
So there are certain things I like to do for detox:
I make a pitcher of lemon water and drink it (though I like to do coconut oil pulling later to help the teeth).
I personally take (Young Living brand only) lemongrass and patchouli oils internally on treatment days. Please consult your doctor before doing this.
I take Terramin clay the evening of treatments, in water.
I take extra garlic capsules, Silymarin and Detoxzyme the day of treatments. (I still muscle test to see what my body likes, and these are what seem acceptable for my body. Everyone is different.
However....I have had days when I have omitted some of these things, and I can honestly say the the number 1 things for me are the rife detox and the clay baths! I couldn't do without either!
I am very excited to announce that, because I have gotten the detox down (something I didn't think of as being important in the beginning) I have been able to up treatments to 2 times a week!! I almost feel like I could pretty easily do 3 treatments a week, but I want to stay as active as possible to help Jerry and also to be able to get to church. However, my recovery time is so much faster! It is now down to 2 full days of treatments and after those days, a day where I am kind of slow, but still able to do lots (cooking, etc.)...and even more if I do the rife detox.
I have to say that I was feeling a bit discouraged before, since my muscle testing came up with bartonella, lyme and babesia all as priorities! Add in that mycoplasma and yeast seem to like to hang out with bartonella, and it was pretty overwhelming. On top of all of that, I seemed to be having teeth infection issues (I'll discuss that in another post). But I have just been working at things, especially bartonella (which, at first, made me feel like I had a flu for 5 days after treatments). Now I can do a treatment for bart and one for lyme per week, and I am excited at the possibility of making lots of progress. In fact, I need to make the bart treatments stronger, since I hardly had any herx last time. I just work at the other things (mycoplasma, yeast, teeth) as they flare up--on odd days in between the other treatments. So, yes...there are times when I am doing rife for this or that every day. But it's so worth it! (Incidentally, mycoplasma is just not fun. Whenever I start feeling really crummy and shaky, I end up testing for myco.....but I treat it and feel so much better the next day!)
I feel like I am rushing through this, as I have work to be getting on with. But I want to share. Here's how I am really doing:
I was so thrilled to be able to drive myself to the little market the other day and pick out all of my own produce! My kiddo came and helped load and unload the bags, thankfully. I was wiped out afterward, but not completely done in. Doing the regular shopping is still out of the question. Still, it's a start!
I am doing more and more of the cooking; and am able to run short errands; drive myself to the local doctor appointments; etc.
The other day I didn't get a nap and hardly missed it!
I am able to recover faster after really tiring days! And I have more days where I can go do something else tiring the next day.
I am starting to feel like progress is going to speed up again. :)
Other helps:
As I am a Young Living distributor, and the F.D.A. is making it so that we have to be very careful about recommending anything, I can say that I did enjoy one Raindrop Therapy, and you might find it interesting to study up on it. I am considering more, but herx is also a concern. I would like to, ideally, try to do 2 rife treatments and 1 Raindrop a week (or every other week, perhaps).
I have been keeping up on my chiropractic care regularly. I feel this is important to keep the body's energy flowing properly.
I am still considering acupuncture to see if I can make sure that the meridians are all unblocked, but I am still making progress without it at this point. One of these days, though. ;)
And that's all for today!

Detox Notes
I am determined to keep track of what works for detox. For everyone who doesn't know already, yes, detox is very important! As I am the queen of not being able to detox, so hopefully these notes will be helpful to some. If not, well, I have myself a nice little list!
I have tried, so far:
-Detox on my rife machine. For sure, this is the number 1 thing that I do. Immediately after a treatment, I run the detox setting and go from feeling miserable to gradually a little better by the time I am done. I do detox later in the day as well, since, according to Bryan Rosner's book on rife, it can take a while for the bacteria to finish dying. I have also found lots of help doing the detox setting again the next day. Just today, for instance, I was feeling so sleepy after my session yesterday, and after running the program for 26 minutes, I feel much better and can stay awake. However, I get to feeling like I could spend all day on my rife machine, so I have been searching for things to add to the rife detox.
-Epsom salt baths....I know lots of people use them, but they just don't do enough for me!
Clay.....now we are talking.
-I first tried Terramin. Terramin is a clay that can be taken internally-which I always do the night of a treatment- but they also make a bath called Terrabath. After finding the price to be a bit scary ($100 on Amazon, including shipping, for 5 lbs.), I wanted to sample it. I contacted the company, and they told me that Terramin is indeed the same product as Terrabath; it's just that Terramin is more finely ground for consumption. Terramin costs about $25 for a bottle, so I decided that it would be a good way to make sure the stuff works. Stealing 1/2 cup out of my tub still left me with plenty to use for my internal consumption.
Well, the stuff seriously helped. I felt a little better after my bath, but the next day was more telling. I woke up not feeling like I had had the hugest workout ever. I didn't hurt everywhere! I had way more energy than I usually do, for sure. And I could actually think clearly. Usually following a treatment day, this isn't the case. I usually feel like I have a flu.
-I was so impressed that I wanted to try another bath, just to see if it would help out my energy levels even more....but I didn't want to use up any more of my Terramin. So I opted for this old clay mask powder that I found in my bathroom cabinet, called Health and Beauty Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay (it's 100% natural calcium bentonite clay). It seriously helped. It's hard to say how much, as the majority of the serious herx was taken away by the Terramin. But it was definitely a keeper. I'm not sure if I want to order it, or just replace it with some other clay, such as the bulk kind found at the natural market.
-Week 2 of clay baths....I had ordered some L.L. Magnetic Clay detox. It's a bit cheaper than the Terrabath, running $65 from their website, including shipping (for 5 lbs.). Okay, granted, this one was a mess....especially if you think you are going to get away without using a blender. Not happening! But if you use the blender, it's fine enough to use in the tub (I used my Vitamix). I didn't bother with all of the tub screens, taping the tub, etc. I didn't blend the herbs into the whole box of powder, either (seriously??)....I opted to sprinkle a bit in with the clay into the bath. I did it carefully, held my breath instead of using the recommended mask. * Note....now I just blend the herbs with the clay in the blender each time..pretty easy. The reason I chose this brand (besides the cheaper cost) was because on Amazon, though it isn't available to purchase there at this time, it had awesome reviews. People talked about the magical feeling of things being pulled out of their body, etc. I don't know about magical magnet feelings, but I felt better after the bath (keep in mind, I am the queen of non-detox). I rinsed my blender and waited to see how I would feel the next day. Yep! Good as gold. Again, I woke up not in pain, feeling pretty good. I could focus. I did a lot of paperwork and was able to think clearly. This is saying something, as I had done a treatment for bartonella, yeast, and mycoplasma (this was a bit much, by the way).
Update on L.L. clay....they responded to my "how often" question with the following:
"We recommend only using the clay baths 1-2 times per week. I would speak with your doctor in regard to using both treatments. I'm not sure how the Lyme treatments make you feel, but I do know the clay baths will have you feeling fatigued, nauseous, and maybe have a slight headache. When detoxing you should take it slow, as not to overload your body."
"I would speak with your healthcare practitioner in regard to using both treatments together.
-So, day 2 of this weeks rife session: I didn't want to use the L.L. clay again. I'm waiting to hear back from the company to see if it's okay to do it more than the recommended once every week or 2. Instead, I purchased some Dr. Singha's Mustard Bath, which also had rave reviews on Amazon. I put in the recommended 2 Tbsp. and tried out a soak. A 32 ounce jar is $25 by the way, but at this small serving, the jar should last a little bit, at least. Well, I felt lighter, as promised, and pretty good. But by this evening.....so sleepy (so I did the rife detox, which perked me up). It just didn't feel as potent as the clay. I don't think I would rely on it for the big treatment day bath.
Now, regarding feeling "better", it's all relative. But I normally feel like I have a flu for 4-5 days after a bartonella treatment. I felt way better the next day, but then I felt yucky a couple of days later, due to a flu (which I did rife for); yeast (don't know if that makes me feel yucky); and mycoplasma (which definitely makes me feel yucky). So not sure if I would have felt awesome without the added bugs! Tomorrow will be pretty telling though (day 2 after treatment day). I haven't had much steam today, and can't wait to see how it goes without the extra bugs, but with 2 doses of clay. ;)
Next, I am trying burbur. I did a bit tonight, since the mustard bath didn't do as much....I feel better, but think that's mostly from the rife detox.
I'll keep adding to these notes, and hopefully add some more details. :)
I'll sign off with this interesting article on Lyme "cures". I would prefer that it was quoted verbatim, but it's a good read.
http://www.tiredoflyme.com/can-i-ever-completely-get-rid-of-lyme-disease-opinions-from-the-most-popular-lyme-doctors-and-healers.html#.VR2NMfnF_Al
Update: I used the L.L. Detox clay after doing a Lyme treatment again (it had been over a month since I treated for Lyme, and I could feel it). I felt the run-over-by-a-freight train feeling the next morning...but not sure if this is because I had waited so long to do a treatment. Sigh. Wonder if there will ever be normal circumstances to get good results, lol?
Actually, last week, I did a bart treatment and the L.L. bath and was doing well enough that night that I was able to get out of the house for a friend's birthday party! Granted, I ended up so exhausted by 10:30 that Jerry had to carry me from the house, but the fact that I was even up to going anywhere was pretty remarkable. I also think that this has a bit to do with the fact that I am beating the bartonella up a bit. ;) Today I have done another bart treatment, as well as a long candida setting (these 2 bugs sure seem to hang out together a lot..), and there aren't any other odd circumstances. Tomorrow will be telling.
Burbur- Well, at $12 or something on Amazon, it sounds like you can't lose, right? Well, consider this: there are only 60 drops in a bottle. If you take 10 drops at a time, and every 15 minutes at that (until symptoms are relieved), that bottle doesn't last very long! Still, if it meant that Jerry could go to work, it might be worth it. But it's something I am going to have to think about more. One night it seemed magical; another time, not so much..? I think I will try some out tomorrow. I am determined to try to find out which things are working by spacing them out a bit.
I have tried, so far:

It is important to remineralize while doing the clay baths. There is a trace mineral supplement made by a company called Lumina Health called Cell Food that works really well! The clay doesn't completely remove all minerals, but it will pull some as well."
Hmm...considering that we usually have the above symptoms......-So, day 2 of this weeks rife session: I didn't want to use the L.L. clay again. Bartonella and Co-infections
Oh, my...it's been a while since I have posted anything! I have been busy. The more energy I have, the more I want to do around the house. :)
So, the latest.....My progress was slowing a little, as treatments stood. I was still herxing, but not too badly, and I was considering doing treatments twice a week. After all, my husband is not able to go to work out of town, so he is at home. What better time to focus on my treatment? Then, I did some testing for bartonella (muscle testing) and it came up as something I had needed to do. I have never treated for bart before, that I can recall!
I began my bart treatment about 3 weeks ago. Each time, I have herxed for about 4-5 days! Now I have been doing lots and lots of detox research (which I will share as I decide on the best approach). I can only guess that I will certainly have lots of progress at this rate!
Another interesting thing. I keep coming up with mycoplasma in my muscle testing. Then I read something about how it often comes with lyme. I don't know about that, but twice I have had times when I feel wimpy and yucky, and I do rife for myco, and I feel really good the next day. So I plan to incorporate this into my routine....sometime......lol. I am not sure how to fit everything into my rife schedule. At this rate, I have no intention of trying to do two treatments a week, but haven't done any lyme settings since I started bart. The others (mycoplasma, fungus, etc.) are easy to sneak in on odd days. I don't really herx much with them. I am not sure when I will get back to lyme treatment, but as long as I am herxing this severely with the bart treatment, I am going to do that one. And if I can get things dialed in with detox, then I could make all sorts of progress!
I have also become a distributor for Young Living essential oils. I have played around with using them for detox, but I haven't wanted to use any oils for killing the bugs, as I don't want to herx 24/7. This has been one of my goals in doing rife, anyway. I don't want to mess up a good thing. However, if I can do a program that just supports the system, I might go for it (and of course, I will report my findings).
Incidentally, the oils I have been using for detox are lemongrass and patchouli (internally, in capsules) and a roll on blend of oils that I rub over the liver area. I have only been doing this once a week, though. I probably should have been doing it more often. I am going to talk to my upline about her recommendations.
Well, this will be all for now. I have to be up and doing. :)

Update: I decided to take a "flu bomb" (a recipe of Young Living oils to take internally to kill bugs). I had a cold and was anxious to try it out. Well, it worked. No more cold.....but I herxed pretty badly! I have heard some have luck with just doing tiny amounts each day, unlike what I had done. Whew! I might consider adding the oils in the future, but it would be very carefully done. Then again, I seem to be the queen of non-detox, so maybe others wouldn't have the same reaction.

Well, obviously, I am getting a little busier these days, as my posts are a little slower to come. ;)
I have had so much to think about! The appointments with the genetic specialist were really amazing! First of all, they were very straight forward. We went down the list of genetic issues and he went over our health history (which is something he wanted in my own words). He took the combined information and asked some more questions, and went over everything, "prescribing" the special supplements for what he felt would help. This was extremely helpful. All supplements are natural and are formulated to be easily broken down by the body. And really, they were kind of custom to the person. He explained how each genetic issue affected another....that MTHFR may not be the worst for me, but it affects all of the other genes, and every system in the body! He addressed problems with the boys such as A.D.D., sensory integration issues, temperament, and more. That part was something that I hadn't dared to hope for help with, though I am not sure why....MTHFR1298 is known for causing more mental issues than the 677. With the younger boys, having one copy of each, he said that they had the worst possible combination you can have...but that there was hope for them. And considering that these genetic issues affect a person's ability to detox-both regular toxins and used up hormones- it is important for someone with Lyme.
So we are to get lots of supplements for all, and it will be very expensive. There is not much getting around it, however. (Inconvenient, as Jerry's local work ended; I just am not ready for him to pick up work far out of town.) These mutations also make it more likely for my kids and I to get cancer, etc. But just having help for all of the sensory issues, etc. would make life easier! So on one hand, I will be spending lots of time each day getting supplements down people; on the other hand, I should have more energy to do so, and spend less on getting kids through homework, for instance! It just seems like it will be a different way of thinking altogether, health-wise, and I am still trying to wrap my brain around it all. Oh...also, we all have the Warrior gene....great!
So as far as genetic issues go, I strongly recommend doing the 23andme test. (You don't have to agree to have your results used for a study and all of that.) Then I advice taking your results to Dr. Youngberg (the specialist). He charges $150 an hour, and is worth every penny! Oh...the beauty of it all is that he does phone consults, so you don't have to go anywhere. :)
http://dryoungberg.com/
1. 23andme....$100
2. Genetic Genie (run your results through it)....$10
3. Dr. Youngberg (take results to him)....$150
4. Order supplements
Dr. Youngberg did order up some blood work for the kids and I (for me, hormone tests; for them, how much they are in need of the methylation help right now, before starting them on the MTHFR/methylation supplements).
Otherwise, things are going along smoothly. When Dr. Youngberg asked how the current supplements were helping, I realized that I hadn't been sick since I started them! Usually, I get every single thing that comes along. I finally got a cold over Thanksgiving, but otherwise...pretty amazing! Energy-wise I am way better, though I am not sure if this is 100% due to the supplements, or my Rife treatments, which I continue to do every week faithfully.
I drive myself to all local appointments, do lots of dishes, laundry, most of the cooking (though Jerry will likely pick that back up, now that he is home)....I even get the kids from school about once a week, sometimes more. It tires me out to do it, but I manage. Sometimes I can still get dinner on at a reasonable hour, too. (At first, it seemed that I would be so wiped out afterward that I couldn't get dinner together.) It's all still a struggle, plus helping with homework, etc....but there is obvious progress there. I even ran a couple of little errands yesterday, and did 2 appointments in a day. I don't seem to need as much sleep, either. :)
Other care: massage was so helpful, I think, for detox, but I won't be able to keep it up. I am definitely going to keep up on chiropractic, as I still do lots of sitting breaks, and I think it's so important to keep that energy flowing through the spine! Now I just need to order the remaining supplements and begin them.
I have work to do, so I won't make this much longer, but here are some samples of what Dr. Youngberg put me on:
-Inflammacore...a shake to help with leaky gut and inflammation. He said that, given my symptoms plus skin trouble (eczema and acne), he thought that this was an issue. I am to be on this for 3 months. It contains nice things like turmeric, as well.
-Neuro-immune Stabilizer Cream
-Ortho-omega fish oils, which he placed at the top of the list for helping all
-Of course, the special supplement for MTHFR....Cerefolin (there are other kinds available)
-Bio-D-Mulsion Forte because my Vitamin D receptors aren't functioning properly (incidentally, he said that because of this, my D numbers have to be between 80-100...higher than other folks)
Also, going over a note from a friend who is a chiropractor....he suggested Diatomaceous Earth for detox...it's about $10 on Amazon. :) I may try that in the future, as well, if still needed. I wonder if my whole life will change with the methylation help...I am so used to having to worry about detox!

10/29/14
Well, it's been a couple of months since I have written here....time for an update.
I went to get the colon hydrotherapy done, and I must say that it wasn't bad at all. There was no pain, which I was surprised at. A bit awkward, but I came to the conclusion that the people in that line of work do it because they love to help people....and they are very used to it. I will say that I had more energy in the following week. So I would say that it was helpful.
Wow, seeing the doctor for MTHFR was so helpful! She knew so much about it all. It turns out that my biggest problem wasn't MTHFR, though it was certainly an issue. I had a couple of genetic issues that were much bigger....for instance, I can't absorb vitamin D very well. (My numbers were certainly low.) She advised me to take Bio-D-Mulsion Forte, which is broken down for easy absorption. It comes in drop form, and is available on Amazon. She also put me on Cerefolin for the MTHFR; again, a food based, broken-down-for-you supplement (available by prescription). This one cost about $170 for a 3 months supply. I have to say, after taking them for a couple of weeks, I was glad to notice a change in my energy levels and alertness. I don't really mean my physical energy; rather my mental energy. I sure don't have to work as hard at being cheerful. For someone that has OCD and ADD that have likely been caused by the MTHFR, that's a big thing! While these things have been helpful, the doctor actually referred me to another specialist, whom she said could do so much more for me. She said that this doctor really has studied genetic issues, and can go down my 23andme results and let me know just what I need to strengthen and help the weak areas. Very interesting! I still need to make that appointment...just one thing at a time for me!
In the meantime, I missed 3 weeks of rife (things got busy, and my husband was out of town, etc.)...so when I did another treatment, whew! Definitely not done with rife treatments.
Physically, I am able to do a lot more.....more dishes, dinner most nights, laundry, homework with kids, etc. Since Jerry works lots of hours, I hired some help to come in and clean a few hours a week. This has been really helpful. I think that the really big thing as I get stronger is to remember to still take care of me....to not get too busy for treatments, etc. (Having someone come in and help works to help facilitate this.) It's hard, when you are borderline feeling good, to schedule a sick/herx day, but it's important to make it happen. Also, on a daily basis, it's not like I am 100%. I am not able to go to the store, pick up/drop off kids every day, etc. I still need lots of rest times. So putting my care first is really important.
I was able to go to a special church service a couple of hours away, which was a big deal, as it was an all day thing. Last year, I was far too weak and had to stay behind. Also, I am impressed with how well I have bounced back afterward.
One big thing that changed for me recently is that my alternative doctor moved away. Now there is no one closer than 1 1/2-2 hours away to get supplements tested by, etc....so I am going to be winging it a little bit there.
I started up a bit of massage therapy, as I got carpal tunnel from too much knitting. She helped immensely, and it just felt like a really healthy thing to do. Since I can't get the extra support from the alternative doctor, I am going to do the massage therapy to see if it helps me overall. I feel fortunate that I can afford to do this, and I know that not all can. I also think that keeping the spine (and thus the nerves, etc.) straight through chiropractic is really helpful. If energy gets blocked up by a messed up spine, I think that that hinders healing. I know that my energy sure is helped by it!
My carpal hands are getting tired, but I wanted to share some other information for consideration. I got the kids tested for the MTHFR, and got the results back for 2 kids. The 2 younger ones had the MTHFR 1298....and 677! That was a big shocker, and of course means that my husband has the 677 (the worst of the 2). So as soon as I see the second specialist, I have to get them started, as well. It feels really overwhelming, but I do feel thankful that I know where to start....especially since I saw some contradictory instructions. The supplement I take for my 1298 isn't allowed for the 677. There were some other double positive genetic things for them, as well (that weren't MTHFR). A lot to think of. But I have to say...this is a very good reason not to just get a simple blood test for MTHFR. There can be bigger issues there, as there were with me. 23andme is the way to go, combined with Genetic Genie and someone who knows how to read the results!
One final thing...Jerry got the results back for his Igenix Lyme test...it was 40, which is equivocal.....and which they said was negative. However, mine was 40, and labeled positive! This seems a little odd to me. We both wondered how you can have all of the symptoms, and have antibodies built up for Lyme, but be negative. So you have it but you don't....Since Jerry has had so many symptoms, and his number matches my number (even though he wasn't as sick as me), we both feel like it should be called a positive. Jerry isn't sick like he was before he did the rife treatments, and he is able to work. Yes, he has tired days. But we agreed that when work slows down, maybe he can do more treatment for it....whether it's rife or herbal supplements, etc.

8/21/14
Well, I am continuing in my dance of 2 steps forward, 1 step back....but getting there!
I have had both some exciting landmarks and some setbacks. Some of the landmarks are driving more; being able to go out for midweek church in the evening; going to my niece's wedding, 2 states away...and surviving (I didn't drive); having 3 very busy days in a row (traveling 12 hours, a potluck day, visiting out and about), and still being able to walk the next day! Setbacks were getting some kind of microbial infection and feeling low energy, in general.
I hadn't been to my alternative doc in a while, and realized (again) how important it is to keep current. He discovered the microbial infection, and I was able to do rife for it. I can tell it's going to make a huge difference, though I am still recovering (I just did rife last night).
Other things....My husband started work again! This is really big, as I am not ready, and we weren't sure that he would be able for it. He is still waiting on his final test from Igenix to come back, to see if he is positive for Lyme (though the alternative doc already muscle tested that he was positive). He was able to find work locally (which is extremely rare), and so far has managed the 60 hour weeks! He was so ready to be working. It was hard on him to stay at home! So he is happy, no matter how tired he is. As for me, I have overdone it, to be sure...but now the kids are back in school, and my mother-in-law has been helping to pick them up, take them to appointments, etc. I have had to pick them up, as well, but she has been a huge help. Jerry gets groceries after work, and I cook some meals. Jerry's mom brings some. So far, we are surviving! I will need to hire someone to come in and help clean. I still stay busy enough with kiddo's homework when they come home, laundry, etc. It is so helpful to be able to rest when I need to, during the day, though (even though I miss the kids)!
Treatments have been a little trickier, but I am still managing to do rife about 1x a week (though it had been 3 weeks, by the time I had come back from my trip!).
I am truly looking forward to seeing the specialist for MTHFR, at the end of Sept. It can't come soon enough!
I have looked at some other alternatives, in the meantime. I went to see my family, and they had all heard of this and that that cured Lyme....First, there was a cold laser treatment, which a doctor up in WA claimed could cure Lyme in 3 visits. My friend went to him, and he "diagnosed" her with Lyme, using this muscle testing method. After a few treatments, he declared the bugs gone. I was quite perplexed by this...for one thing, she had no herx, whatsoever. I would think that, no matter the method of killing the bugs, there would have to be herx. So that was a little confusing. Since she had just recently recovered from thyroid cancer, it was hard for her to tell if it helped, energy-wise. I asked folks in my Lyme group, on Facebook, if they had had any help or results. The general consensus was that it could help, but not kill it in 3 visits. Some questioned whether it alone could cure Lyme. Naturally, I hope the best for my friend! And yes, if there was a treatment that could cure all in a few visits, why not? But I wondered if perhaps the bugs that were not in cyst form were killed? Could it be that his version of muscle testing only find spirochetes? For myself, I concluded that this treatment may be too good to be true. The non-herx is big, and it just seems that, in my experience, it's just got to take some time for things to get killed. That's just me!
My sister recommended colon hydrotherapy, with ozone treatment. She said that she felt alive and wonderful after treatment; that her skin cleared up; it killed 2 parasites; her headaches went away, and more! I don't think it could kill all Lyme, but have concluded that it may be a good idea to clean out toxins in the gut, etc. so that my body can work more efficiently. (I haven't yet made an appointment, or found anyone near that does the ozone part of things.) These sorts of things could be helpful, I think, and I think that with Lyme, we need all of the boosts we can get!
I will let this be all for now. I have some work to do!
